How to become a Volunteer:

To become a volunteer for the Children's Festival, you will need to complete the following:

1. Fill out the application form and mail it or drop it off at:

Family Services of Central Alberta
5409 - 50th Avenue
Red Deer, AB T4N 4B7

2. Sign a waiver of liability

3. Complete a police security check (if requested)

Volunteer Committment

Volunteers are essential to the overall success of the festival. Safety and security are paramount so volunteers are expected to show up on time and prepared to do their assigned tasks. Volunteers may have to pass a police security check depending on their duties. Volunteers may be reassigned at any time at the direction a Volunteer Coordinator.

Volunteer Rewards
- Receive a free Festival t-shirt
- Arriving for your shift will give you free admission to both days of the festival
- Invitation to come to an Orientation and Recognition party

The Volunteer Orientation & Recognition party will be:

Location: Golden Circle Senior Resource Centre - 4620 - 47A Avenue

Details: Serving light refreshments. Giving out t-shirts as well as the opportunity for captains to meet their teams. We will also be walking the festival grounds to give tours to volunteers.
