Welcome to our 4th Annual Central Alberta Children's Festival, an event designed for children and adults who "Never Grow Up!".
A group of ever-increasing dedicated volunteers has been working to create an event that will provide not only fun, but also educational opportunities for students. We have worked hard and hope that we have been able to provide opportunities for all grades who attend to meet your curriculum needs.
The planned activities and entertainers promise to provide opportunities for experiences and activities in the five domains of Social, Physical, Intellectual, Creative and Emotional Development. Some of the activities are, The Diversity Corner, Science Area, Health and Wellness, The Maze, Creative Art, face-painting, and Storytelling and many more. The focus is on interactive, hands-on activities.
Our headliners are Fred Penner and Flying Bob who will be joined by many other local musicians, dancers, and magicians.
The wading pool will be filled during the festival. There will be opportunities to explore water, and experiment with objects that float and sink.
The Norwegian Luft House will be open in Heritage Square so that the children will have an opportunity to explore it.
Please check out the many other festival activities offered this year.
